I’m a self-taught learner in design, Japanese native surrounded by a multicultural environment mainly around Tokyo where I was born and raised, and where my double-a spelling name comes from.
Currently working at U-NEXT 🎥, to improve product by considering DesignOps. I also worked for multiple companies in Vancouver and Tokyo, including Forty Five Ventures (Takenaka) 🍣 🍙, HaulR logistics 🏗, and ROOMVU 🏘 while supporting small businesses through digital design and development.
My career journey started with fashion design, where my specialization in branding grew, and it expanded into development and marketing. It was always connected to design which I am focusing on and really enjoying today.
These days I'm enthusiastic to support the growth of global design community to bridge the gap between internationals and locals through speaking and content creation with some mentorship to aspiring designers.
